OONI'S EX-WIFE CONGRATULATES HIM & QUEEN PROPHETESS NAOMI

In an Instagram post, Queen Zainab Otiti-Obanor, former wife of Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, has congratulated the king and his new Queen. She also expressed there's grace in willingness to forgive.

ALAKE OF EGBALAND SHOULD APOLOGISE TO EGBA SAGES FOR BOWING TO PMB -TOYOSI CRAIG

L-R: HRM Oba Gbadebo (Alake of Egba land), HE Sen. Ibikunle Amosun (Governor of Ogun state), and H.E Muhammadu Buhari (President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria)

In a piece titled Before We Loose Our Culture and History , Toyosi Craig, an author, innovator and an award-winning energy specialist, who is also an Egba indigene has "on behalf of all the ancient and modern Egba sages, dead and living" demanded an apology from HRM Alake of Egbaland for bending before  President Muhammad Buhari.

Toyosi wrote:

I am personally aggrieved not merely because this is a taboo. If my King should now at all, should it not be to a man of greater honor? Constituted, undeserved authority was how my forefathers and their fellow valiant men were sold for umbrellas and mirrors, for a pair of shoes. Somebody bowed and many followed.

We will never forget.

For this course Lt. Mrs Funlayo Ransome Kuti defied the establishment.
For this course Lisabi was murdered.
For this course University of Ibadan was rejected while they embraced Neuropsychiatric hospital.
For this course they gave us a saying to erase what they have done “Egba meji o kin jara won niyan, baawa neeni”
This is the height of it.

In bowing, Oba Alake all but submitted his people into the tyranny we have for a government. I say no to that. I say no to slavery under a leader whose salary I pay.

For the king of my land to defile the tradition and bend before a voted President?

Kings used to stand for something. Even since the advent of constituted leadership, kings have retained the power of the people. Presidents visit them before elections for good measure. In bowing, Oba Alake all but submitted his people into the tyranny we have for a government. I say no to that. I say no to slavery under a leader whose salary I pay.

This is what my king should know. In our culture, a King is a king and if there is no more kingship let us know.

My forefathers were brave.. They fought their way to freedom from slavery, though so tortured that they could not remember their native names and were forced to bear the names of their slave masters. They say I am “Craig”.

In denial, I studied history as written by JF Odunjo, Daniel Fagunwa, Ola Rotimi, Akinwunmi Ishola, Amos Tutuola, Afolabi Olabimtan, TM Aluko, Adebayo Faleti, Duro Ladipo, Tai Solarin, Kofoworola Ademola, Hubert Ogunde.

Their accounts planted Yoruba culture in the dearest corner of my heart… I grew up expecting the best of it and now custodians are selling it away in morsels. There is a reason we have only so much culture left to protect. Colonialists destroyed most of it. Cultural destruction is the foundation of disenfranchisement. Without our culture, we are unanchored canoes in a sea storm. If we must progress, we need that culture… By bowing before anyone at all, Oba Alake stains that culture. He should take it back… He must take it back.

LIVING CONDITION OF THE FAMILY WITH MENTAL ILLNESS

Our source Youth Corp member, Progress Oberiko furthers writes about the family.

She wrote:

''A conversation ensued between him and his wife one day and it turned into an argument, people were listening; "You this woman, Shey u see what you have caused us, it was you who made us end up like this!" And the woman retorted "When I was telling you, you didn't listen, done blame it on me o, it was also your fault too".

And they quarrelled and argued just like a normal family would do, but Las Las, they still did the trekking together, one big family!

How do they feed? They beg. And their pattern of begging is bizarre. The man does the approach. He approaches you politely and tells you the exact specification of what he wants. If he requests for money he tells you how much you're gonna give him. And it doesn't exceed the number "7". It must be #700. Give him #1000 he'll reject it.

If you are giving him foodstuffs like yam, it must be 7 tubers, else he'll reject. And from my findings, they have five kids although the two older ones were taken away by the wife's family. From my deduction therefore, he only accepts the figure '7' because he has a family of seven consisting him, his wife and his 5 kids. How amazing!''

A 16-man human organs syndicate which specialises in selling vital body organs to buyers in Kogi State and other neighbouring States have been arrested.

A self-confessed gang leader and the vigilante leader in Ankpa community, 39-year-old, Yakubu Hamidu, said himself and members of his vigilante group killed and harvested the organs of their victims. He said they have killed several victims, including males and females and removed their organs and body parts; mostly heads, kidneys, and other vital body organs.

Parading the suspects before newsmen in Abuja on Friday, the Nigeria Police Force spokesperson,  Jimoh Moshood, said the police began investigation into the group’s activities following repeatedly cases of abduction, killing and removal of vital body parts of victims reported in Ankpa town and environs as well as the killing of a Police Inspector, Abdul Alfa, at Ejule Police outpost in Ofu LGA while on foot patrol on the 28th November, 2017.

Gang leader Hamidu admitted that they were sponsored by one Abdulahi Ibrahim Ali a.k.a (Halims) and one Shaibu Adamu a.k.a Aye-Marina, whom they handover the body parts to after killing their victims and severing their body organs and collecting huge sums of money in hundred thousands of Naira.

Aye-Marina’s driver known as Zakaru receives the body parts from Yakubu Hamidu.

Hamidu admitted to have personally sold four male private parts and human organs to politicians at prices ranging from N100, 000 to N250, 000 each.

The suspects further confessed and named some victims they have killed and removed their body parts; including Inspector Abdul Alfa, who was ambushed and axed to death on the head from behind by Julius Alhasan and his gang.

All the suspects have made voluntary statements to the Police Investigation Team and have confessed to the various criminal roles they played in the recent kidnapping, gruesome murder and ritual killing attacks on innocent residents in Kogi State.

The Police said investigation is being concluded and efforts are being intensified to arrest other suspects who include prominent personalities linked to the crime but still at large.

The suspects would be arraigned in court on completion of investigation.

TEENS RAPE 9-MONTH-OLD BABY, FILM THE ATTACK, MOM RECOGNISES THEM

Two US teens have been charged for allegedly raping a 9-month-old girl and filming it.

When the baby's mother saw the video of her daughter being raped on her cellphone, the recognised the perpetrators and immediately reported to the police.

A grand jury formally accused Isiah Hayes, 19, and Daireus Ice, 22, of the incident in Memphis, Tennessee when Hayes was 17.

In one of those videos,Hayes was allegedly seen exposing and touching himself with the child, who was nude from the waist down and still in view.

Police said in another video Hayes was allegedly performing sex acts on the child.

The men were arrested in February after the mother reportedly used social media to identify one of the men and took the information to police.

Isiah Hayes and Daireus Ice have been charged with raping a baby.

Hayes was charged with aggravated rape of a child and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

Ice was charged with aggravated rape of a child and criminal responsibility for conduct of another and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

Hayes’ older brother, who asked not to be named, told local TV station WREG the family found the arrests “heartbreaking and scary”, “we apologise,” he said.

“I know that the child may not remember but it’s something a mother is going to have to hold on to forever. Like, knowing that your child was exposed to something like that. You trusted your child with someone, and you have to deal with seeing this on your own.”

The man wants his brother to get help, and said the video surfaced because of a family feud.

FAMILY OF 5 WITH MENTAL ILLNESS IN CROSS RIVER STATE!

A Facebook user and a corps member named Progress Oberiko, took to her page to share a story of an inseparable family of 5 battling mental illness in Ogoja, Cross River State.

According to her, the family are never separated and are always seen walking together. But one of the interesting things she noticed about them was their brilliant and fluent command of English language.

She wrote:

'#ONE_BIG_FAMILY_1
This happens to be the weirdest situation I've seen in my entire life. I have been trying to get this shot for the past five months and whenever I tried, they either walk past too quickly, change direction, or not just close enough.

At other times I may be on a bike and whenever I ask the cyclist to go slow so I can get a shot of them, he'll be like "Hmmm, Abeg o, I nor fit stop this bike make u snap o, if the madman catch u, your own Don finish!

And that's how it went.

The first time I saw them here in Ogoja, my heart melted, I was livid. And my mind wandered, searching for the closest guess as to why a whole family, husband, wife, and three beautiful children would be plagued with INSANITY.

WHY!

My heart could not contain the curiosity, then i began to ask questions. Anytime I drove past them in a car or on a bike, I engage the driver or someone in a conversation about them.
I have seen them trekking long distances under the scorching sun?, I've also met them in the market making enquiries about where they could get a particular item to buy.

They're never separated, always found walking together, complete family. But the intriguing part is their communication. Jeez! This "MAD" family speak CORRECT QUEENS ENGLISH. They flow in CLEAN grammar. Na this one dey burst my head ?

I've heard the man instructing one of his children who was walking sluggishly behind him as they trekked down the road; "Hey Dorcas, will you hurry up, C'mon girl, meet up with the pace". And I marvelled.
At the market he asked someone for directions and he went; "Hey ma'am, Pls where can I get this and this... "

As you can see their dreadlocks is twisted, showing that it has lasted for God knows how long ? This means that this madness nor be today. E Don tay!

A conversation ensued between him and his wife one day and it turned into an argument, people were listening; you'll be so shocked when you hear what the content of their argument was?..
